I'm more of an anime-watcher rather than manga person. It's just a hassle to sit down and read for me.
As for other animes, my faves are -
-Wolf's Rain -Ginga Nagareboshi Gin -Full Metal Panic
That's all I can really think of, but those are my top loves in anime, aside from the BJ stuff.
Hoho, ONE OF THOSE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER, ONE DOESN'T INVOLVE CANINES.

As for me, I've always has a list of favorite anime. I can't read manga as they don't sell the ones I like here.
Favorite Anime: Ranma 1/2 CLAMP Campus Detectives Captain Tsubasa Detective Conan Black Jack
As you can see, Black Jack's my latest favorite. Ever since I saw the Black Jack: Four Miracles of Life Specials commericals for last November 25, 2006, I knew I might as well get addicted.
There are also some anime mentioned here that I've watched already a little of such as Kino's Journey, Saiyuki Reload, Saiyuki Reload Gunlock and Ouran High School Host Club.

Kino's Journey is fantastic. One of my favourite animes.
It's absolutely beautiful. You should finish the series. I watched all 13 episodes on DVD in one sitting.

It certainly is a very beautiful anime. I mean, many anime talk about how ugly the world is. ]

Oh, my! I have a list that is way too long, and I will most probably end up forgetting a lot of my favorites while making it! I haven't read many manga, sadly, since coming across them is more expensive than say, episodes on TV, but here goes!
A list (definitely not complete) of some of my favorite anime: - Black Jack (SO MUCH LOVE <33333) - Cyborg 009 (Moar love!) - Gensoumaden Saiyuki - Rurouni Kenshin - Monster Rancher (I have a soft spot for this!) - Akazukin ChaCha (Comedy ftw!) - Akihabara dennou Gumi/Cyberteam in Akihabara (Now if only I could remember more about it...) - Great Teacher Onizuka
...shoot, I forgot a ton of them already! I'm such a scatterbrain. Bah~ at least you know only a pinch of the stuff I love now. XD;

Nakakatakot!
Cyborg 009 looks like a Tezuka work! I don't know if it really is but I don't remember seeing it listed as his work. Just look at the shape of the face, and the buttons, and the hands!

It's not Tezuka's work, but it is highly influenced by his style, since at the time, Tezuka was "THE" artist, if you know what I mean. :3
Cyborg 009 is done by Shotaro Ishinomori.

I just watched it this morning. The more I stare at it, the more it seems to look not like it... Weird...
