Ray reminds me a lot of Dark Angel

Really? I know Ray got blind but I didn't know it was caused by an explosion...
But in the anime, Black Jack appears as himself fully unlike in the manga. The public really loves him!

I've watched all 13 epis of RAY too, and my, it's so full of drama. XD I have never seen the manga, sadly. I pretty much squealed when I saw Black Jack in the opening of the first episode, and I was surprised but happy to see him in the last episode, since I only knew he would appear in the first. (Wow, confusing sentence there.) The reason he could appear more fully in the anime (though still somewhat secluded) was because Osamu's own studio was animating the series, thus the issues with copyrights was not as bad.

No wonder! That explains it!
I made a gag in comic form inserting Black Jack into my story, At the Turn of a Card. It sucks but I think I'll send you guys the link. (sarcastic) Maybe I should ask Makoto Tezuka for permission.
It's a phone gag. Right I told you guys about The Black Ace? At the time, she wasn't so anonymous and she was still known by her real name, Shuroi Kuroi. She was trying to find the identity of one unknown lunatic by calling the number on his driver's license. She'll later know that all the information on it was false. Anyway, in the original, the number is unregistered. When I edited it, I thought it'll be fun to put Black Jack somewhere in there because they look so alike. And so, when she called the number:
(Answering machine)
Hi! This is Pinoko! The Doctor and I aren't here at the moment. We're on vacation. You see, I'm his wife! My cooking specialty is fried eggs! I actually prefer to eat them out of a ...
(Under the skies of Marseilles)
Pinoko: How rude! Can you believe it, Doctor! Someone just left a black message on our answering machine!
Black Jack: What did you exactly say when you recorded the greeting?
Pinoko: *blink* *blink*
Sounds familiar?

Just saw it yesterday on The Four Miracles of Life, "U-18 knew". At first I tough it was some horrible innuendo

I never understood why you thought it was an innuendo, but NOW I do. XD;;;

What exactly does innuendo mean anyway? I thought it was some weird taboo or something...

Yeah, that's exactly what i tought it was thanks to BA's expression of outrage. That, plus my dirty mind...

You're calling what BJ said ("What did you exactly say when you recorded the greeting?") as innuendo? That was just me. It was meant to be totally innocent.

Well, I was calling what Pinoko said on the recording message innuendo. A panel showing BA's dying of boredom on the phone should have solved the problem for me. (Karmi, I shoudn't be tainting your pure mind with this, truly)
