I'm not sure if someone else has already mentioned this, but I found the manga in Manga Fox. In fact, I checked only today out of curiosity and was greeted by 50+ chapters all uploaded this morning! I was really surprised the category even existed and that Version4 has uploaded all the way to Volume 04! Plus, these seem to be scanned from the Vertical version! I'd have an idea since I held and read one of those gems. Enjoy! www.mangafox.com/manga/black_jack/P.S. Maybe we can lend our skills to Hisagi-Chan so we can spread the BJ love.

Well, I'm not sure if it's legal but the whole Black Jack Coffee and Parfait Scanlation Project is also illegal when you think about it. Not that I'm justifying anything, but of course, having the real thing would be really awesome. XD But the books aren't always available and they sure cost a lot over here.

I'm just worried that the people who put work into translating and publishing the manga in English (finally after all these years) are losing out because people are able to get it for free and rather not buy the hardcopy. Oh, yeah. After all that ranting and petitioning. Still, over here, I consider it rather pricey. One volume would cost around over $20, a large amount in the Philippines (Php 1000+)...

Might wanna check it out) EDIT: Make that around 300-600 pesos each. Sorry.

@ charxelle: It's hardbound, so I'm not surprised it's pretty costly.
Actually, the Black Jack issues there have been taken down now. Oh, well. It was fin while it lasted... = 7=

Well, the Black Jack manga has been licensed on Mangafox, so now NOBODY can read it. On mangakong, though, it's been scanlated till volume 11. Changing subject, here in Italy not only did the company realeasing it failed, but if somebody (me) wants to order it on their website then it costs up to 25 €!!!! It is far more convenient buying it in England when I visit my grandparents... But the thing is I can only buy three at a time because those at the shop just order it in threes...

Manga fox has been removing most of their manga lately because of copyright and license laws. Though, Manga Park has most of the chapters on there site. I usually read it there on my psp because there's no advertisements that block the pages, and because it loads fast. I advise some of you BJ fans out there to check it out.
