Yes, its VERY hard to find good Black Jack doujinshi and fanart. I wonder why? Maybe coz he's not that much popular nowadays. Not too many people like heartwarming, drama-ish stories that make you want to go kyaa!

yeah... enough people prefer more history like Naruto (x_xU) i hate naruto XD so, BJ is an old history, with nothing of action and battle like anothers series, that sucks

Riku? She has two favorite characters that she likes to couple with Black Jack. Pinoco, as seen here, and Makube (Rock). Doujinshis you're mostly have to purchase and usually sold at cons which is why you barely see them online (they want something for their hard work I guess.) Also , like you both mentioned, everyone is more into current animes like Death Note, Naruto, etc. As for lack of fanart and such, a lot of Japanese fan sites tend to shut down once the artist loses interest in the series (I consider it lucky if they decided to keeping the artwork and the site up so long as they're updating the site on something else), but even then they're more likely to remove a lot of the art from their site. Cool, so you know at least a little about the artist ^^ Yes, it is RARE to find shrines, fanart and such for our beloved black jack
