For those who have watched the anime Cyborg 009, you'll understand.
When I first saw Cyborg 009, i thought it was made by Tezuka because of the drawing style (big noses, only the main character looks cool, thick outlines, rounded cartoony fingers, females with prominent eyelashes etc.) And I kind of liked it but I never really got the story.
What REALLY bothers me was WHY THE HECK DOES IT LOOK SO MUCH LIKE TEZUKA STYLE when Tezuka wasn't really involved...?
I dont know about the manga though. I never read it.
Is ther anyone out there who also thought cyborg 009 was tezuka's work?

There were some artists in the past that were influenced by Tezuka's art. In fact, Ishinomori Shoutarou (who created Cyborg 009) was mentored by Tezuka and was asked by Tezuka to help him with Astro Boy! XD There's also Mitsuteru Yokoyama who was inspired by Tezuka's works, famous for his "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", "Giant Robo" and "Tetsujin 28 (Gigantor)" Both artists have made a definite influential mark and pioneers in manga history. Shame that both artists are no longer with us. ;_; Oh, so that's why! Hahaha! It looks like they were HEAVILY influenced by him though, lol. Yes, too bad none of them are alive anymore T_T

I've seen few days ago a video about Cyborg... and yeeees!!!! it looks like Tezuka's style!!!! A friend (who recently knows about BJ), show me that video thinking that Tezuka was the author too... and I've looked for info, and I found Tezuka wasn't the author...
But it really looks like!!!!

Well, I already knew that Tezuka sensei taught Ishinomori of how to draw in his style.
But, I did thought it was made by Tezuka, but when I read up about it (Which was a long time ago btw.) I found out that it wasn't by Tezuka, but he did help Shotaro out with the series a bit.
Ah, memories. I remember watching Cyborg 009 when I was a kid. It is still one of my favorite animes today. :]
Also, The 2013 film was absolutely amazing. If any of you didn't watch it yet, then you should. Re: Cyborg 009.
And the story of Cyborg 009, is about 9 people from around the world, were kidnapped and turned into cyborgs, by Black Ghost. So, pretty much the story is about the Cyborg soldiers Defeating Black Ghost to stop him and his troops from conquering the Earth.
