Dororo, a young orphan thief, falls into the company of Hyakkimaru, a powerful demon-hunting Rounin. Before Hyakkimaru's birth his father, a greedy feudal lord, made a pact with 40 demons and let them each take a piece of his unborn son's body, in return for granting him great power. Hyakkimaru was born without arms, legs, eyes, ears a nose or mouth, a barely human creature, and his father had him thrown in the river. He was rescued and raised by Dr. Honma, who made him artificial limbs and helped him learn to fight the demons - each time he defeats one he reclaims one piece of his body. Now he and Dororo travel together through the war-torn countryside. -ANN
Kuro told me about this series after she bought vol 1 of the manga lol, and I just finished watching the live action movie version of it and its interesting to say the least (Kuro and I both think Hyakkimaru is kind of cute but not nearly as cute as bj lol)

I really like this story :3 It seems bj-ish since Hyakkimaru is an outsider and was cared by Dr. Honma, as well as having a problem dealing with his whole body. Can't wait to get the remaining books and Blood Will Tell game

lol, I knew what you meant :3 I want to see the original series for Dororo DX I wonder if it's any good...
Interesting... silly Tezuka :3
The game has little blood that I've noticed, though I'm in the prelude and the prelude is in black and white. But it looks like there's only blood when the monster explode when you kill them, then the blood vanishes. (XD Who knows... but Gackt amuses me, so I don't mind. I call him the Golden Boy...)
And I await to see Hyakkimaru in Black Jack =O
Edit: Ok, I'm in chapter one. There's a lot of blood splatter, but it's disappears fast.Other than that, not a lot of blood. It's not like every nook and cranny is bloodstained like a horror game :3

EDIT: forgot to mention that Hyakkimaru does appear in Black Jack as a doctor with hair similarly styled like BJ's (meaning no long ponytail). Yes, i remember that in the anime! In the episode where BJ gets stuck on an island where the local doctor likes him. XDDD
