Firstly, I miss the background music, especially the dramatic entrance music, you know, where Black Jack first appears to take Akudo Nicola's case. Although I don't like Pinoko very much, I actually like the BGM they put when she was dragging the doctor out of Tom's.
Second, the drawings are more consistent. In Black Jack, I noticed his white hair tends to transfer from one side to another. It's supposed to be at his right but sometimes it jumps to his left then back again! I like the effect of them covering one of his eyes with his bangs but sometimes both are completely seen through them. If I know right, the only time that ever happenes is when he puts his hair in a cap during surgery.
Then again, there isn't much comedy in the specials. I'm so surprised by the way he reacts in the series as he's too sullen in the specials.

Well, I don't really see much difference in either of them really. They're all quite the same to me. And, really? Does it even matter about his hair? It changes sides because it's supposed to look like its from a different POV. You know, when you look a certain way, your hair faces that certain way too, don't you? Anyways, it was supposed to be more realistic. Also, the Animation is done by Avex Mode for those of you who don't know. They also worked on Astro boy (2003),Cyborg 009, and of course Black Jack!
